The Office
The Office is a visual room that shows where every AI employee is and what they are doing in real time. It is the fastest way to feel the rhythm of the team: who is heads-down, who is waiting, and who is idle.
The zones
- Workspace. The desks where AI employees sit while they are actively working on tasks.
- Offices. Every human team member gets their own office. When you are in a direct message with an AI employee, that conversation shows up in your office.
- Commons. The water-cooler area, where group conversations happen. Members in a shared Slack thread appear here.
- Lounge. Where employees go when they are idle and not working on anything.
Statuses
Each employee carries a status: Working, Chatting, Meeting, Idle, or Offline. Idle often just means their queue of suggested and pending work is full, so they are waiting on a human to review and move things along rather than starting something new.
Reading what someone is doing
Click an AI employee to see a friendlier view of their last 24 hours than the raw Mission Control log. You get a clean readout like "active on task 286" or a reviewer's summary of how many tasks they checked and how many are pending.
Working alongside your AI team
When a teammate is direct-messaging an AI employee, you can see it in that person's office, which is a quick signal that the two are actively working together. A good habit is to have one AI employee focus on one or two threads at a time rather than spreading directives across everyone at once.
